Astha Sehgal

Astha is a dispute resolution professional with over 6.5 years of experience. She holds a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) with a specialization in Business Laws from Amity Law School, Amity University, Noida. Astha has acted for several high-value clients and has extensive experience representing parties across diverse sectors before judicial and quasi-judicial forums (PAN India), including the High Courts, District Courts, National Company Law Tribunals (Delhi, Chennai and Chandigarh), Consumer Commissions, and other statutory authorities. Her practice spans complex commercial disputes, contentious regulatory matters, and multi-forum litigation strategies.

Prior to joining Neeti Niyaman, Astha was associated with Saikrishna & Associates and other prominent law firms, where she led and assisted in diverse disputes spanning civil, constitutional and commercial spheres, including those arising under consumer protection, aviation, technology–media and telecommunications (TMT), intellectual property rights, drugs and cosmetics, and regulatory compliance. Her work also extends to regulatory advisory, compliance assessments, and commercial and technology-focused agreements.

Astha is additionally associated with the Software Freedom Law Centre, which works globally on research and policy development in the areas of data protection, digital rights, and technology laws.
